Rule and Company was established in 1997 by Steven Waters and
Stephen Rule and already has four solicitors. Cleverly, they have
been able to attract the type of work often thought to be out of
the grasp of small provincial firms and have built up a diverse
portfolio of clients from individuals to partnerships and
international companies. The firm offers a wide range of specialist
legal services in addition to the more traditional domestic
conveyancing and general family business. The two Stevens are a
perfect example of how opposites can work together as a charismatic
and successful team. One is fit, good looking, goes to church,
doesnąt swear, doesnąt drink, doesnąt smoke and is Aryan. The other
isnąt, might be, doesnąt, does, does to excess, does but shouldnąt
and is Rabelaisian. One of them has a tattoo, but only good clients
get to know which one and where.
